2019 Award – Financing Mechanism to Support Deployment of Solar Heating or Cooling Project(s)
The Solar Heating and Cooling Award of the IEA SHC Programme celebrates the success of those working to increase the market impact of this renewable energy source. The 2019 Solar Award will recognize an effective financing mechanism for a solar heating or cooling project or projects in the public or private sector. This year’s recipient will have demonstrated substantial achievement and measurable market impact from a financing mechanism (e.g., ESCO performance guarantee, selling energy, etc.) implemented to support solar heating and cooling. Nominations may be for a company/organization or an individual responsible for implementing a financing mechanism that positively impacted the solar heating and cooling market. Nominations will be accepted from public and private entities.
The 2019 Award will be presented during the award ceremony at the SHC 2019 / SWC 2019 conference in Santiago, Chile on November 4-7. The award recipient will receive a conference ticket and travel stipend.
